Payment Methods and Invoices
Viewing Your Payment Methods
Your payment methods are shown on the Billing dashboard. For each card on file, you will see the card brand, last four digits, and expiration date. A badge indicates which card is your default payment method.
Managing Payment Methods
To add, remove, or update your payment methods, click Manage Payment Methods on the Billing page. This takes you to a secure portal hosted by Stripe (our payment processor) where you can:
- Add a new credit or debit card.
- Remove a card you no longer want to use.
- Set a different card as your default payment method.
After making changes, you will be redirected back to GBPCentral. Your payment method list will update automatically.
Expiring Cards
GBPCentral monitors the expiration dates on your cards. If a card is about to expire within the next two months, you will see a warning. If a card has already expired, it will be marked so you know to update it before your next billing cycle.
Viewing Invoices
Your invoice history is available from the Billing page. Click Invoices to see a list of all past invoices, including the date, amount, and payment status (paid, pending, or failed).
Downloading Invoice PDFs
To download a PDF copy of any invoice, click the download button next to it. The PDF is hosted by Stripe and will open in a new tab. You can save or print it for your records or for expense reporting.
Failed Payments
If a payment fails, your subscription is not cancelled immediately. The payment system retries the charge several times over the following days. During this time, your subscription status changes to "Past Due." If the payment eventually succeeds, everything returns to normal. If all retries fail, your subscription may be suspended.
