Setting Up Your Profile and Security

Editing Your Profile

To update your personal information, go to Profile from the user menu in the top right corner. You can change the following:

  • First Name and Last Name
  • Email Address — If you change your email, you will need to verify the new address before it takes effect.
  • Business Name — Optional. Useful if you want your business name associated with your account.
  • Phone Number — Optional.
  • Timezone — This controls how dates and times appear throughout the platform, including post scheduling.

Changing Your Password

On the Profile page, scroll down to the password section. You will need to enter your current password and then provide a new one that meets the security requirements (12 characters minimum, with a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters).

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication adds a second layer of security to your account. When enabled, you will need both your password and a code from an authenticator app to log in.

To set it up:

  1. Go to your Profile page.
  2. Find the Two-Factor Authentication section and click Enable.
  3. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Authy.
  4. Enter the 6-digit code from the app to confirm.
  5. You will be shown 8 recovery codes. Save these in a safe place. Each recovery code can only be used once, and they are your backup if you lose access to your authenticator app.

To disable 2FA, go back to the same section and click Disable. You will need to confirm your password.

Managing Active Sessions

The Profile page also shows your active browser sessions. You can see which devices and browsers are currently logged in, along with the IP address and the time of last activity. If you see a session you do not recognize, you can log it out individually from this list.

Deleting Your Account

If you need to permanently remove your account, you will find this option at the bottom of the Profile page under "Danger Zone." You must confirm your password before the deletion is processed. Please note that this action cannot be undone.
