Setting up your first site can be quite an exciting time for any business and WordPress is a great first choice for many people. One of the fantastic things about it is that it’s brilliantly easy to set up, and it’s also extremely SEO friendly. However, to get the most from the platform you still have to follow some basic principles. Planning Your Site Layout
One of the most important things any new webmaster needs to do is plan the layout of their site. However, that’s not going to help if you’ve put no time into planning your sites structure. Try to imagine how it might be in a few years when you’ve got hundreds or even thousands of posts. Make sure that you can archive and categorize your content efficiently to get the minimum amount of clicks to even the deepest of pages.

Using the WordPress SEO by Yoast Plug-in you can instruct the search engines to ignore any unwanted duplication by making use of the robots no-index tag.
