Sometimes you may want to have more then one wordpress install may be your host does not provide you extra database to install wordpress on separate database or you want to organize all your installs on one database so that you can keep it all at one place and do not want to have all databases scattered on server and advantage is that you will just need to make one backup for all websites/blogs.

To have multiple wordpress installs on one database you will need to install manually as install programs host provides like fantastic o does not let you change the prefix for tables.

I have video tutorial that can walk you through install process after you upload wordpress files folders on server on location you want to install the second wordpress,
all you need to do is go the url of wordpress like http://domainname/folder or the domain name if you using the add on domain name.

Make sure you use same database information as first install and change prefix for tables when creating a wp-config.php file which the wordpress install program will create for you.

I prefer to have a prefix so that I can identify which install tables are which wordpress install.

That is all is to it Happy Blogging.
